XIUMIN

XIUMINHe is the oldest member in EXO.
In 2008, he won 2nd place in SM Entertainment’s Everysing Contest. The song he sang at the Everysing Contest was “Emerald Castle – Step”.
He knows Taekwondo and Fencing.
He says that his special talent is shouting.
His favorite song on EXO’s first EP “Mama” is Mama.
EXO-M says that he is both the strongest and funniest member in the group.Why is he the strongest? The members had a contest where they wrung a wet towel. When it came to his turn, he was the one who get the most water from the towel out.
In the future, he wants to be an architect.
He likes to play pranks on the other members.
Luhan says that he makes a lot of silly gestures.
His ideal type is a girl who is huggable and can comfort others.
He is the first member to wake up each morning. Right after he wakes up, he tidies his bed.
He says that the most difficult thing for him to do is diet.
He really likes to eat steamed buns.
Luhan was the one who gave him the nickname “Baozi”. “Baozi” is his nickname not only because he likes steamed buns, but because he has a round, white face.
Kris says that Xiumin’s true strength is being approachable and understanding. Kris says that Xiumin is very helpful in taking care of the Korean members.
He takes a bath every day.

CHEN

He is said to be the best singer in EXO.
He can hit high notes very easily.
His father is a main vocalist as well.
His most memorable moment pre-debut was when the company threw him a birthday party.
He wasn’t into playing video games, but after living with the members of EXO, he finds himself playing them more and more.
He hopes to collaborate with Super Junior someday.
He really wants to perfect Mandarin so that he can both speak to his Chinese fans, as well as make less errors while recording music.
He’s forgetful, so he’ll have to write things down (hence why his notebook is one of his favorite possessions).
He is one of the worst dancers in EXO, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s bad. He’s still an exceptional dancer, however, he knows that he has to become better.
A fan called him “Dancing Machine” at an event, causing the other EXO members to roar with laughter.
The nickname has stuck ever since.
He says that later on, he’ll master dancing, but for now, he’ll work on perfecting his singing.
He says that he admires Kris’s handsomeness, but he especially admires Tao’s ongoing humbleness.

Even though he seems quiet in some interviews, he’s actually very hyper, especially when he’s gets to speak Korean instead of Mandarin.
He’s very close with Xiumin, and they’re seen almost always side-by-side.

Chen is becoming better at Mandarin, and at some points during interviews, he can respond to the MC’s questions before the translator gets a chance to do their job.
It’s unknown how fluent he is in English, however, after watching a few interviews… it’s not that he isn’t fluent in English, because there definitely is a foreign accent when he speaks, but at the same time, his English sounds awesome. How is this possible? He makes it possible.
He is one of the most underrated members of EXO, alongside Xiumin.
He joined SM Entertainment in 2011 after being scouted out by an agent.

LAY

He has lived in Korea for 4-5 years, but he still feels his grasp of the Korean language is weak.
He loves cooking. Like D.O is the cook of EXO-K, Lay is the cook of EXO-M.
If there’s nothing to do, he’ll cook.
He loves eating fruits.
He’s considered an “all-rounder”.
He’s great at a lot of things.
He likes to write lyrics and compose music.
In SHINee’s 2010 concert tour, he briefly filled in as Jonghyun’s dance replacement.
He’s Chen’s roommate in Korea, and Luhan’s roommate in China.
He was originally supposed to be EXO-M’s leader, but he was replaced by Kris.
On stage, he’s strong and charismatic, but off the stage, he is humorous and playful.

He officially joined SM Entertainment in 2010 after winning 1st place in an SM Entertainment Global Audition held in Qingdao, China.
He was officially introduced as a member of EXO on December 27th 2011.
During his time as a trainee, he was picked on by other trainees because he was Chinese and because he got to debut so quickly after joining SM Entertainment.
Tao’s first TV appearance was on SBS’s Gayo Daejun on December 29th, 2011.
He appeared alongside Kai, Luhan, and Chen.
His favorite animal is a black cat.
He’s very conservative (kept to himself and mysterious).
In China, his roommate is Xiumin.
In Korea, his roommate is his manager (his manager thought it’d be best because Tao still needs to work on his Korean), and on the road he rooms up with Kris.
